Welcome Back
Hey fam! I hope your January was fantastic—mine? Honestly, it started off slow, like one of those months where you’re just trying to push through. But by the end, things started falling into place. And now here we are, stepping into another month, another blog, and another chance to build this God-fearing community together.
Before we dive in, I just want to say thank you to everyone who joined the discussion last month. Every comment, every share, every moment of reflection—it all means the world. Ultimately, that’s what this is all about: making God’s people stronger and Heaven’s population larger. And that brings me to this month’s topic. You guessed it—God Himself.
God Is More Than Just “God”
God is not just some distant ruler sitting on a throne in the sky. He is a Father, our Maker, and a constant source of strength. And let me tell you, when you start truly understanding what that means, it will change everything.
God as a Father
Believe it or not, every single person on this planet has two fathers. For those of you who are like, "What are you talking about?"—let me break it down.
You have an earthly father—one who is human, imperfect, and bound by the limits of this world. But then, you have a Heavenly Father—one who reigns in heaven, limitless in His love, wisdom, and power. He provides in ways no one else can, knows every detail of your past, present, and future, and loves you beyond what you can comprehend.
Both have a role, but only one Father is perfect—the One who never fails, never leaves, and never stops pursuing you.
An Indescribable God
I don’t have the words to fully describe how incredible God is. Actually—there’s the word! Our God is indescribable. He is above everything, ruler of all creation, and the definition of perfection.
Think about this:
He created light.
He formed the sky and atmosphere, land and seas, and every living thing.
He made the sun, moon, and stars.
He created the birds, the fish, the animals… and then us.
All by His words.
If that doesn’t scream indescribable, I don’t know what does.
A Father Who Gave It All
Because God is so gracious, He gave us free will. He didn’t want to be a dictator—He wanted a real relationship with us. But with free will came sin, and because God is all-knowing, He already had a plan.
That plan? Jesus!
God isn’t just our Father—He’s Jesus’ Father too. And He did something unimaginable. He sent His perfect Son to die for a world full of people who didn’t deserve it, to pay the price for our sins. It was the only way, and He chose to do it. What kind of Father does that?
Our God. Our merciful, loving, and wonderful God.
God Gives Us Strength
Let’s be real—this world isn’t getting any easier to live in. But the good news? We don’t have to do it alone.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power." – Ephesians 6:10
Through God, we have the strength to get through our time here on Earth, until the day we step into eternity—where there’s no suffering, no confusion, no pain—only joy.
Accepting Jesus & Trusting God as Your Father
If you’ve read this and felt that pull in your heart—if you’re ready to trust God as your Father and accept Jesus as your Savior—let’s do it together! It’s simple. You can say this prayer in your heart right now:
“Dear God. I believe that You are my Father, and I trust in the plans You have for me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I’m so grateful for the gift of salvation. Thank You for loving me, for Your grace, and for never giving up on me. Help me walk in Your truth and grow closer to You every day. Amen.”
This is the first step into a life of purpose, strength, and relationship with the One who created you.
What Can You Take Away From This?
God is so much more than just “God.” He is our Father, our Creator, and our Strength. He sees you. He knows you. And He’s waiting for you to lean into Him.
So, this month, I challenge you—start talking to Him like the Father He is. Ask Him to show you who He is, and then watch Him move in your life. Because when you truly see Him as your Father, everything changes.
