Intro
There are a lot of reasons why I do what I do. I love helping others in areas they struggle with—especially when it’s something that comes naturally to me. I appreciate beautiful spaces. I thrive on problem-solving and coming up with new, unique ways to make things work.
But there’s one thing I now know I love most about what I do. It wasn’t this project that made me realize it, but Project No. 103 solidified it.
This project recap is going to be a little different. Instead of the usual story about how it all started, the design process, and all that—let’s rewind a little further. I mean way back—early childhood.
Home
From an early age, God placed me in a home where my parents helped shape the values that continue to guide me today. These values influence everything I do—especially my approach to design—and I carry them into every home I create.
When I design, it’s not just about making spaces beautiful. It’s about creating homes that reflect those same values: love, purpose, and belonging.
Project No. 103: Guided by Faith + Designed with Purpose
This project—a home designed for a family of six—brought me full circle. It wasn’t just about creating a beautiful space. It was about creating a home . . .
Long before this project, I knew my designs were meant to be more than just aesthetically pleasing. I wanted to create homes with meaning and intention. Homes crafted by people guided by faith and designed with purpose.
Project No. 103 didn’t give me that vision—it confirmed it. It reminded me why I do what I do and how every space I create is part of something bigger than myself.
The Story Keeps Unfolding
The trend is trending. We’ve now designed homes/spaces for two families and are in the works for three more. And as much as I’d love to say this is all my doing, the truth is—God wrote this story perfectly from the very beginning. He’s still unfolding it, still using everything from my past for something good in the future.
And Project No. 103 was just another reminder of that.
Yes, this home is absolutely gorgeous. But I don’t want to use my platform just to highlight my accomplishments. I want to point it all back to the One who made it possible—so that you know He can do it for you too.
