Eternity Series: Three Questions + Three Answers

Hannah Moser Interiors | Eternity Blog Series

Hi fam!

This month’s blog post is a special one because it kicks off something brand new — our very first Q&A edition of the Eternity Series! On Instagram and Facebook, I put out the invitation for y’all to share your faith questions. Whether you sent one in, thought of one later, or maybe just weren’t sure what to ask yet, I decided to start with some of the most common questions I hear people ask about God, faith, and Christianity.

So here we go — three questions + three answers, straight from the heart.

First Question: “If God Is Good, Why Does He Allow So Much Suffering?”

This is definitely one of the hardest and most important questions to wrestle with.

The truth is, God didn’t create evil. In fact, Genesis 1:31 (ESV) says:

“And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.”

God created a good and perfect world. Evil and suffering entered in when humanity chose sin. God could have forced us into obedience, but instead He gave us free will — because real love can’t exist without choice.

So, suffering is the result of our broken world. But here’s the hope: God didn’t leave us there. Out of His love, He gave us Jesus, who suffered and died on the cross to pay the price for our sins and offer us eternal life. That’s not a distant or powerless God — that’s a God who steps right into our pain and redeems it.

Second Question: “How Can You Trust the Bible When It Was Written So Long Ago?”

I get it — it sounds almost impossible that a book written thousands of years ago could still be true and relevant today. But here’s the thing: the Bible isn’t just a human book.

2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV) says:

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”

That means God inspired the people who wrote it — He “breathed it out.”

And here’s something personal: when I started reading the Bible consistently, it changed me. My heart softened, my thoughts shifted, and my life began to align more with God’s will. I’m living proof that the Word of God is alive, real, and powerful.

So yes, it was written long ago — but it’s just as true and trustworthy today.

Third Question: “Aren’t All Religions Basically the Same?”

At first glance, it can seem like they are. Most religions talk about morality, gods, or spiritual practices.

But here’s the big difference:

Every other religion is about people trying to reach God. Christianity is about God reaching down to us through Jesus.

Jesus didn’t just give wise teachings — He claimed to be the Son of God and proved it by rising from the dead. No other leader has ever done that.

So while other religions might emphasize rules or self-effort, Christianity is about grace, transformation, and relationship with the one true God through Jesus Christ.

Closing Thought

These are just three questions, but they open the door to so much conversation. Faith isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about seeking truth and letting God reveal Himself along the way.

So I’ll leave you with this: Which of these questions speaks to you the most right now? And how might God be inviting you to draw closer to Him through it?

Until next time,

Hannah <3
